TempoLane privacy policy

Last updated 19 October 2026

TempoLane is a local-only day planner published by NeuraTiM. This policy describes what the app does with your information, which is very little, and it applies to the iOS, Android and web builds alike.

What we collect

TempoLane collects nothing on its own. There is no account, no sign-in, no profile and no device identifier. The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking code of any kind.

There is no server that holds your plan: your activities, notes and time logs are never uploaded, synchronised or backed up anywhere by the app.

The only time the app uses the network

If you send an improvement suggestion. More → Suggest an improvement sends exactly what you typed, a reply address if you chose to give one, and one line naming the app's version, platform and language. It goes to NeuraTiM's own server, which forwards it to the developer as an email. No activity, note, date or identifier goes with it.

Nothing else in the app makes a network request. Opening a link, a map or a phone number is a request made by the app you hand it to, not by TempoLane.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter — activities, steps, notes, repeats, projects, clients and time logs — is stored on the device you entered it on. Everything except the file index is encrypted with XChaCha20-Poly1305; the index holds only sizes, revisions and checksums.

On iOS and Android the encryption key is held by the platform's own secure storage (the Keychain or the Keystore) and the files live in the app's private directory. In the browser the files live in the origin-private file system and the key is held by browser storage, which is not hardware-backed; anything with access to that browser profile can reach it.

Deleting the app removes its files. Any copy you export yourself is outside the app's control from the moment you save it.

Permissions

Reminders: asked for the first time you set one, and used only to schedule local notifications on the device. TempoLane keeps working with the permission refused.

Device unlock: only if you turn on App Lock. The app never sees your PIN, pattern or biometric data — it asks the operating system to confirm and is told yes or no.

The system file picker: only when you import or export a file, and only for the file you choose.

Internet: only for sending an improvement suggestion, as described above.

Every permission can be withdrawn in your device settings; the app carries on with all of them refused.

Third parties

TempoLane bundles no third-party SDKs that collect data and shares nothing with anyone. An improvement suggestion you send is read by the developer and used only to improve the app and, if you gave an address, to reply.

Opening a link, a map or a phone number hands that address to an app you choose, at the moment you tap it. What that app then does is governed by its own policy.

Children

TempoLane is suitable for all ages and collects nothing from anyone, so it holds no children's data either.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear here with a new date. Because the app collects nothing, a change is far more likely to be a clarification than a new practice.
